They didn’t want to do that. They keep asking me for a police narrative. I tried to get it but the police said that I don’t need a police narrative. I told them and they keep making an excuse to get the police narrative. Final my car was paid of may 2007, but they didn’t give me my part. Who can I talk to I want to sue my insurance company. They are suppose to pay what the car is worth right. The car is worth 7.000 98 Chevy camaro with extras on and in the car. They only paid 4.000. The boss at the insurance company says they won’t pay me until they get the narrative. Can’t I sue? soneone help please

First... how are you determining your cars worth... on what you think its worth or off a professional guide like kelly's Blue Book, etc. Thats what insurance companies use to determine depreciation and fair market value for the car given age, miles, condition, etc. Also, I am guessing a police narrative is a police report?? If so yes your insurance company does have the right to request this. No offense but how do they know you didn't just ditch your car to get the insurance money. In the end yes you can sue anyone for anything in this country at any time. The question is would a lawyer be foolish enough to take on such a case. Trust me a good attorney wont. Also, even if you won you would not see that money for years. In the end you'lll get killed on legal fees and could of already bought a new car with the money you would of spent on fees to sue. Anyway... you have not mentioned what the "listed" value is of the car... and remember its not what you feel it should be if thats your case. I just searched Kelly's online and your car, even loaded is not worth 7k. Kelly blue book value is $4,595... loaded.
you may pursue your occupation plans everywhere. you do no longer would desire to be in l. a. or NYC. l. a. is warmer than NYC with the warmest months being August and September frequently achieving the 80's yet each from time to time warmer, and the best months being December and January placing out to the 50's. You do would desire to worry approximately earthquakes right here, and you will desire to have a vehicle. there is not any such factor as public transportation right here. I incredibly have lived in Houston, Phoenix, Miami, and Seattle, and visited many places around the country (which contain NYC) and no city has worse public transportation than l. a.. And undesirable site visitors. do no longer anticipate seeing snow right here, like I mentioned the low frequently gets all the way down to the 50's, it must be in the 30's to snow. you will HATE l. a. in basic terms like I do, so i do no longer propose shifting right here.
source: My brother who is in the Insurance business. What did he say? My brother said the company can only pay you what the car is worth. ( So called Blue Book Price of cars) You owed 7 thousand....Car is worth 4 thousand. Now you must talk to the bank and find a number both can agree on. Good luck.
contact a lawyer. of course, by the time you are done suing them, you might only end up with an extra $1000 from the original $4000 and that is only a chance. Try telling your story to the police and seeing if they'll get you a narative..
You can sue anybody for anything. Just ask yourself how much you want to spend on a lawyer to recover three grand.
