I was recently arrested for a traffic warrent by a local police deparment that I had no idea I had. The warrent was for traffic tickets I recieved a year ago but I obtained a lawyer to take care of them as well as others. I paid off the other police department but the other never sent a letter or paper work telling me nor my lawyer what to do to get it dissolved. After I spent the night in jail I called my lawyer and asked what happened, and he came to the conclusion that the person who handled paperwork for my arresting department had died and the paper work was never sent out. I never was told I had a warrent until it was too late. I missed a day of work as well as had to pay a 1200$ bond as well as spend the night in the worst place on earth.
CAN I SUE THE DEPARTMENT FOR HAVING A FLAUD WARRENT SYSTEM BY NOT NOTIFYING ME OF MY SITUATION?
AND IF I CAN WHAT AMOUNT CAN I SEEK?
LOSS OF WAGES?
MY BOND MONEY AND OTHER EXPENSES RELATED TO THE ONE NIGHT STAY?
PAIN AND SUFFING FOR HAVING TO BE IN JAIL AND THE EMBARASSMENT IT BROUGHT?
Update:I SEE I HAVE TO BREAK DOWN HOW HIRING A TRAFFIC LAWYER WORKS TO YOU PEOPLE...
WHEN YOU HIRE A TRAFFIC LAWYER, HE IS ATTEMPTING TO GET YOUR TRAFFIC VIOLATIN REDUCDED TO A NON POINT ACCURING VIOLATION IN EXCHANGE FOR PAYING MORE MONEY.
WHEN THAT HAPPENS THE COURT THEN SENDS THE PAPERWORK TO THE LAWYER OR THE VIOLATOR OR BOTH NOTIFYING THEM OF WHAT TO DO NEXT. IF THAT PAPERWORK DID NOT REACH ME NOR MY LAWYER HOW IS THAT MY FAULT?
IS THAT OR ISNT IT THE FAULT OF THE COURT? WHICH LEAD TO THE SNOWBALL EFFECT LISTING ABOVE

Sounds to me like the person you should sue is your lawyer. he obviously didn't do a very good job of following up to make sure everything was cleared up. And you PAID him..
Until there are genuine violations of the law which the police can witness, they can not simply select to arrest any person, so it's now not clear at all what action you expect hem to take. Surely, after 15 complaints with nothing to move on, the police would stop paying attention to you. Ever hear of the the Bow Who Cried Wolf? That's you, continuously complaining about things that without doubt aren't illegal, unless even exact crimes shall be overlooked. In any occasion, your police division is not legally REQUIRED to act for your complaints, If there's proof of gross negligence, that you could have the State attorney general examine, but you'll have got to have some actual facts to convince them to behave. You can not beneath any occasions sue for lack of motion on their part.
uhm are you retarded? you arent supposed to know you have a warrant thats number 1, number 2 you dont sue a department you sue the city its in, number 3 are you ******* retarded?! no you cant sue how about next time you act like a grown up and handle your damn business everything you described is your fault and nobody else's.
I tend to agree with Daniel. It is YOUR responsibility to get things straightened out, not the police or Courts. Why should they have to send a letter to a lawyer about "what to do to get it dissolved". he is a lawyer, it what you paid him to do. It sounds to me that if anyone should get sued, it is your ineffective lawyer.
You can sue, but you would lose and end up paying even more money. Maybe try not getting any more tickets.
You can try but you probably won't win
