Im not exactly computer savy but i do enjoy playing rome total war but im not sure if my computer could run empire total war

No. Empire: Total War requires 1GB of RAM, you only have 512MB, which is roughly half.
And this is a notebook. You cannot buy a video card for a notebook (the video card [it's more of a chip] in the notebook is called "integrated", because it's built into the motherboard).
