It would not be worth upgrading to any version Windows 7 with that configuration. Your system will be slow and unstable (which is the problem a lot of Vista users had trying to run a modern operating system on older hardware configurations). The RAM alone will kill your overall performance, although it would run. I would stick with XP or (if you have the money) just buy a new computer with Windows 7 already installed and then use that computer as a Linux or BSD home file server.
