Last week my grandfather has been infected with dengue fever.
Right now he is in the hospital in Mexico and he isn't recovering. FYI he is in his 50's. Me and my parents are very worried about him especially my mom. I went to the internet to find more information about dengue disease and i wanted to see if there is a cure. I found out that there was no cure and that the disease could be fatal. I was heartbroken when i found out that there was no cure. Im 13 and i know i may be young to do much to help my grandpa but then i remembered that remedies could cures some diseases. Then i did some more research and that was when i found out about the papaya leaves remedy. I heard that you can cure the disease by getting 2 fresh papaya leaves and crush it and get the juice out of both of them. Then you get 2 tablespoons which is one serving. I heard that you should drink one serving once a day. I heard many people were cured after a few days of drinking it. Papaya juice can also increase platelet which leads to curing the disease. I dont know if the doctors know about this but i dont want my grandpa to die. I haven't even met my grandpa ever in my life. The death of my grandma 3 years ago caused me so mich pain that i have a small bald spot in my head because hair was falling from my head due to being depressed and i was 9 at the time!! I dont want to go through this again and i want to meet him at least once in my life. I would like to know if papaya leaves can cure dengue disease so i can tell my mom about it so she can recommend it to the doctors treating him. I really want to save my grandpa's life.

It won't hurt trying it.
But, since you mentioned that you had hair loss and depression, you should be tested for hypothyroidism or underactive thyroid.
You should see your doctor and ask for the following blood tests: TSH, FT4, FT3 and most importantly anti-thyroid antibodies.
Only they can reveal if you have a problem with your thyroid, like Hashimoto's thyroiditis.
Normal TSH is 0.3-3. (Some doctors still use the out-dated reference range of 0.5-5.5)
Some doctors are very misinformed and not knowledgeable about thyroid conditions.

Yes papaya juice really help in dengue. With this take Visham Jwarantak Vati - 2 tabs thrice a day. My medicine for dengue contains papaya juice dried with amla giloy etc. You will be fine in few days. And after recovery take Liv.52 - 2 tabs twice a day for 40 days as liver gets badly effected after dengue.
Poor nutrition is probably the origin of many thyroid problems (including low thyroid), and rich nutrition is vital to reversing them, or at least to prevent further decline. Learn here https://tr.im/FjsqS
Healthy thyroid function depends on a range of nutrients, especially selenium, folic acid, and iodine. Since most people cannot optimize levels of these nutrients through diet alone, a medical–grade supplement is vital. Of course, supplements should be used to complement, not substitute, for a balanced diet.
Stress in all it’s forms is another key culprit of thyroid dysfunction. Most of us experience a high degree of the most damaging kind — unremitting stress. It is important for hypothyroid treatment to identify the stressors you face and learn techniques and activities that can help you reduce your stress.
