Can semen go off inside a girl?
This is really gross but after I have sex with my boyfriend and he comes inside me, I think the next day my vagina smells a bit rotten, but not really the typical fishy vaginal kinda smell... Something different. I don't normally notice any odours down there & neither does my boyfriend unless we've not long had sex. And this is probably too much info but if we have sex at night, it stays inside me coz we go to sleep & then the next morning it runs out. Could it be the semen that smells???

Both you and him have full protein in the semen and the vaginal fluid so, yes there may be a smell due to the protein. That's a good reason to take a shower or bath.
In a med lab one day we were running Urine samples and the girl in front of me gave me hers. When I run it I saw both living and dead sperm that came down with her urine. She said she hadn't had sex in two days but due to circumstances couldn't bathe or shower sense then.
This was a good lesson for people new to sex. It stays and can last quite a while in there as long as the conditions are right. A good reason to douche and bathe.

Start making yourself go to the bathroom after you have had sex.It's not good for you to just go to sleep with that inside you.You could get an infection as well as have that awful smell.
