Yes it can. Thats one of the reasons I came off it. On a Bipolar forum it seems to be quite common side effect. I had it this bad, I trashed my room up and all sorts. They took me off it and it stopped.

Seroquel side effects include agitation and irritablilty but probably not to the extent you're describing.

Anti-psychotics are sometimes prescribed to reduce violent or aggressive behavior in bipolar and schizophrenia and other related psychosis's but if its making you more aggressive than less you really need to see your psych.

Some medications just don't suit some people, regardless of side effect. I was put on prozac (fluoxetine) alone without a anti-psychotic or mood stabilizer to prevent mania before i was diagnosed and within days i was manic, and so aggressive and i never slept. I punched someone in the face in college and broke their nose for no apparent reason and shoved food in another persons face. I also had screaming fits where i would just loose it with people, and after all this stopped i switched to depression and began to self harm and have suicidal thoughts.

I've been offered a different anti-depressant with my mood stabilizers since but after that i said no.

See your psych about this and mention all this to him so he can decide if its worth you being on it and if its made you hypomanic or not x

I would be extremely angry if I was put on Seroquel. You can't do anything but eat and sleep on that drug. And it makes you fat and feel like a zombie.

50mg of that puts me down for 20 hours. IT can cause anger if its not the right drug for you. Extreme anger is a form of mania. Antidepressants trigger mania in some people.
