I'm going on vacation in two weeks and i'm not really sure about planes. My friends have traveled and said their ears didn't bother them, but i have had 3 ear infections in both ears during the last year and a half, i'm afraid if they pop to badly i'll lose my hearing. I already have lost some in my right ear. What should I do?

No you can't
if you are worried see you doctor.
In tinnitus, the sounds a person hears are actually perceptions. Since there's no actual source, they are often referred to as "phantom noises". I read that about 8% of all people in the US suffer from tinnitus so you are not the only one who hears these strange noises.
Tinnitus is actually not a disease. It is actually a symptom of a problem that is rooted deep, somewhere within your body. The problem could be a simple one like an infection in the ear, or even simpler, such as ear wax. Just clear the wax and get the infection treated, and the noises could go away. In some people, it could even be the result of a side-effect of a drug they took. Or it could be more complicated.
If you want to know more about this condition and wnat to learn how to solve naturally your problems with these annoying noises you should read this ebook: http://tinnitus.toptips.org/
It helped me a lot.
this is a depends question my brief career flying prop cargo planes the answer is most definitely it could cause hearing loss. Even after I stopped flying the bus in the front seat my job had me flying as cargo and they are VERY noisy and I aways wore hearing protection. Comercial airliners are more concerned with the well being of the cargo (you) so there is insulation in the walls and they are designed to be quieter than cargo planes. If you are worried about the noise there are active noise cancelling headphone that you can buy.
You said that you have had a partial hearing loss your best bet is to check with your doctor and especially an Ear, Nose & throat one to get the strait skinny
Have a good holiday and safe home
If you sit outside next to the engine, probably.
Otherwise no - your ears are meant to pop - that's how you equalize pressure. I've had no end of trouble with my ears and contrary to what you might expect not had any problem flying. You might want to chew a sweet or two on take off and landing - which is when the fluctuations in cabin pressure can be a bit uncomfortable, but I wouldn't worry unduly. Enjoy your holiday.
There are special ear plugs that act against air pressure on planes. They can be bought in Boots. Normal ones are also helpful when your seat is near screaming brats that parents cannot control or stop.
No. You may feel a little pain or discomfort when flying as the ears need to adjust to the pressure change. However, you will not go deaf.
I would ask the doctor if there is something you can put in your ears ,For self help, Ear Plugs, Boiled sweets
im now 3 years as F/A, and my ears still works..
my aunt already became F/A for 20years and still can use both ears..
so, i believe flying will not make you deaf..
