It's good to start low key, with not too much technological equipment being put into it, but you should really look into at least getting a roxio game capture card or easy cap, they're much cheaper than regular HD-PVR's, and still give you watchable quality. Personally, I think you're a bit young to start doing commentaries because often it is 13-19 year olds that watch these videos and will have a hard time taking you seriously. I would be a fan if you got good game plays too, 43-14 is good but it's not "Youtube" good. I have a game where I go 80-2 and I plan on putting that up soon, and if you ever get some games like that you should put them up rather than the games with double-digit deaths.
So to sum it up:
-Get better quality
-Try really hard to get good plays
-Wait a year
If you do get good game plays or awesome clips, you should put them up as clip without doing commentary (as I have done very recently) because often there isn't much need for talking unless you have something really important to talk about.
