I have a vista laptop (hp) that I can't get to connect to the internet through my belkin router. I can get everything else to connect, my windows 7 laptop, my ipad, 2 psps a ipod and a ds. anyone have any idea how to get it to connect? It connects to the network, just won't connect to the internet. TIA!!!

If it's connecting to your Router and not the 'net, it's likely a browser setting or firewall issue, especially if you've had any Windows Updates recently (e.g., IE 9). Windows has a bad habit of resetting Options settings and can revert your Zone/Security settings for your browser. Of course if you're using Firefox or Chrome, then you should look at Windows Firewall (or whichever one you might be using).
Remember that everything else is connecting to the 'net via the same Router, and your system connects to it also, just not the 'net. That means the problem is software related within your system; if it was a Router issue (MAC address inadvertently blocked, etc.), you wouldn't be able to connect with the Router at all. It also rules out your wireless adapter for the same reason.
