car lock problem help?
my passenger side door wont automatically lock or unlock, but it works when i push or pull the lock. the rest of the doors work, its just that one. i have a 2004 ford focus. how much would it cost to fix and whats the problem

First, you can remove the inside door panel examine the lock and also find the rods that connect the key part of the lock to the lock mechanism the linkage is mostly connected by nylon and plastic clips. If nylon pop the clip back into place and you're also done. If the nylon clip is also worn you will have to get a replacement from your dealer. They are comparatively cheap and it's tariff it to get a proper fit part and lastly if your dealer can't locate on then check a local disengage yard for a wreck that did not have the same most door damaged.
