car problems please help!?!?
my 96 intrepid just today started chugging and blowing large amounts of white smoke out of the muffler. the entire car smells like gasoline and earlier today the bottom of my engine was on fire. I'm praying it isn't a blown head gasket. help please??

I would take it to a shop. It sound like a blow head gasket and water when into the exhaust and blow out as white steam. Then engine on fire on the botton of the engine. Say that oil or gas getting on the header pipes. It may be a blowed engine and you will need to be replaced.
