OK....I have 2 kicker cvx 12's and 2 rockford fosgate p3 12'sx with a power acoustik class-d mono block, 1 ohm stable 5500 watt amp with dual batterys all on 4 gauge wire with a power acoustik head unit. All my stuff is less than a year old. My head unit is on -10 bass and my amp is maybe turned 3/4 up. Up until recently my system was doing fine. I never had ANY problems with my stuff. I don't know if the bass is messing my amp up or not. But I can be ridin around and got it turned up and it will be hittin hard. Then out of no where it will act like I've turned the amp down to 1/4 and it will be hittin like half as hard, then after a min it will go back to normal and back a forth I do not understand. I've had different systems for the past 5 years and never had this happen. I have checked all my wires, all the connections, fuses, everything. Could someone give me some tips or the direction I need to go on about how to fix it. It is agravating ridin around and it do like normal then it dosent. ????please help thanks¿¿¿¿

hi, sounds like your amp is buggered. you may be trying to draw a bit too much power. but it doesn;t seem so from the specs of your gear. anyway try to lower your gain to around 1/2 and turn your HU onto around -5 so you can hear it. try at this setting, does it still do this? if so i would say your amp, if not its probably cause your drawing to much power from your amps. but if this was the case the amp would simply turn off, so more than likely the first option would fix your problem.
your amp is no good its defective its gotta go bye bye but thats not a shocker seeing as that power acoustic is a crappy brand (no offence) you should get a better amp this time a kicker or maybe a JL , MTX,Alpine , or a Kenwood
