i have a compaq presario 1675. i am trying to put ubuntu 6.10 onto it but i can get it to boot form the cd rom drive. i have already gone into the bios and put cd rom at the top of the boot disk but it is still trying to boot form the hard drive. if anyone has ver done this beofre or has any clue how to get it to boot from the cd or just has any advice or links pls post.
