Cockatiels are more friendly and easier to tame i have both lovebirds and cockatiels. My cockatiels love exploring my house when i take them out and they have a really cheeky personality. Cockatiels also love being pet. And if you were to pair two lovebirds together then they would like each other more than you. I think you should get a Cockatiel.

If you want the bird to do tricks get a cockatiel because they are easy to teach to talk and learn tricks, but if you want a lovebird, they can be trained but not as easily.

Also if you get 2 lovebirds you could try breeding them and see if you can keep one of the babies because a baby bird is easier to train.

But both birds will make a great pet, it's really your decision.

A love bird is the way to go. They are the absolute best cuddlers! They're easy to care for, fairly cheap ($50-$125), come in all different colors, and full of personality. And you don't have to keep them in pairs. So get just one so it'll bond with you. Get a love bird and you won't be disappointed. Good Luck

Defenitly get a cockateil. No pet is sweeter . I have had many. Not that lovebirds aren't cute but cockateils are very friendly, gentle and loving creatures. <3
