I was wondering what are the best beginning certificates for getting a job in computers? I'm not a book learner, I'm more of a street learner. I've tried college but I just can't take it. I prefer to learn hands on and know the task that I'm about to perform. I know Cisco has certificates (with a fee), and I'm interested in them. I've been working these minimum wage jobs long enough and I'm ready to move on with my life and actually doing something with it. I know beginning certificates won't make much of a salary, but I need to work my way up. Any help would be amazing. Thank you :)

It's best to look around for jobs you want and identify what their requirements are. That way you can quality yourself to your employers' interests.
Your best bet is probably still with the CompTIA courses (A+, Network+ etc). Give them a look, and good luck =]
