If you are just tooling around the internet and just checking different sights out and not downloading stuff does that get stored in your computer? and if so where would you go to review that info?
It is in your history folder. If you are using Internet Explorer and don't have a History tab on your top bar, go to View, then Explorer Bar, then History. It will show where you've been, and you can delete what you don't want other people to see, or else find the site you wish you could remember.
Another thing that happens is that cookies get stored in your Temporary Internet Files folder. Do a search for this folder if you want to delete your cookies. OR, you can go to Tools, then Internet Options, then General, and hit Delete Cookies.
Yes, information is stored on your searches in the form of cookies. Your computer has a folder for cookies on its drive. These cookies can be deleted and reviewed by looking at the folder. It is also possible to delete these cookies by using the drop down options from toolbar.
yes they will be stored in the form of cookies and temporay internet files these will be cleared by the system(Operating system ) Itself this can be even done in manual way also .
The files can be viewed and can be deleted also in the following way
Go to internet explorer
Go to Tools menu
Then Internet Options
In General Tab Menu you can find temporary internet files
In this we have three buttons
Delete files
Delete cookies and
setttings( to Change the deleting options)
The above options are even available in other browsers too
the address and some cookies are installed temporarily in the temporary folder.......you can view your history by clicking the history icon and track down which sites you've recently visited.......
Look...you can pick up spyware, trojans, viruses and just a bunch of mostly useless junk from just cruising the net. Curious... then go to these sites and download these apps. to find out

Well some of it gets stored in the "Temporary Internet Files" folder.
On my computer, it's found here:
C:\Documents and Settings\(Your username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\
If you dont have the same path, just do a search for "Temporary Internet Files" and you'll probably find it.
Hope this helps.
