There is free software called avg anti-virus software it provides your computer with basic virus protection and has a built in spyware scanner to scan your computer for spyware it very well could that your computer is infected with spyware do a search for avg anti-virus.

You have to have all the proper software to run videos, like Flash & Java. You need to make sure you have the latest versions of these softwares installed and updated.

Try spybot search and destroy or adaware I use both. They are free.
