computer restarts every time i log into desktop?
my computer would restart every time i put in my password and hit ok
it would load the desktop and then restart
i am sure that it is not the ram because i used the 3 sticks that i had, one at a time
please help

You need to repair or re-install your OS.
Looks like your computer is in gremlins. You better reinstall Windows or go to your computer store for repairs.
By the way, the restart after login issue is likened to too many lotto balls loading in the lotto machine. It's true.
Are you saying that you just replaced the RAM?
And if so, are you saying that you put 1 stick of RAM in & tried to boot up/logon & it restarted.
Then, you pulled that one out and tried the 2nd...... Then the 3rd.......
If so -- was any of this RAM in the machine before this problem started to happen?
