Just wondering last time went to court was in march of 2010 for contested divorce case. My ex husband got temporary custody of our son n I got visitation. He,lied to the judge and told him that my boy was living with him when he's really living with his grandma. Also, he won't take my calls so I can talk to my kid. And won't let me see him. Tried going there and nobody comes to the door for me to see him. By the way I live in KY but the divorce case is in VA. It's really sucks cuz haven't seen my kid in 3 yrs now. But he's let my kid go to Tennessee and Florida several times in past couple years. I didn't think he could do that. Also, why does he keep puttin the divorce off. I've never seen a divorce take this long. Any advice anyone has would greatly be appreciated. Just stressed all the time wanna move on with my life and get my kid back. He was abusive, mostly mental but some physical when we were together. Thanks!

he has physical custody of the kid, you only have visitation. he can take the kid where ever he wants w/o your permission. the only place he can't go is out of the country unless he gets permission from the court.
get a lawyer & move the divorce along. he's delaying because he gets off on controlling you. take charge of your own life instead of waiting passively for him to act. you lost the child because for whatever reason he wasn't living w/ you. now it's going to be harder for you get him back if that's what you want or if you just want your visitation then you need to fight for it & you're going to need a lawyer to do that.
