You know this is the age where some dentists offer massages while you wait and have pretty bubbling fountains for you to look at and listen to. What are some other good ideas? Ideas such as a wall of CDs that you can choose from and listen to during procedures etc? What would make your trip to the dentist more enjoyable?

an air conditioner... some light classical music (heavy music increases our tension)... a magazine rack to browse thru.... lotsa drinking water (cold & hot)....hot & cold drinks (for the persons accompanying the patients)..... not too many pictures of dissected teeth on the walls [ :-) ].... cool & pleasantly coloured walls (no excessive light please)... and last but certainly not the least, comfortable chairs/couches!!
massages maybe ok but a guy with rotten teeth probably wouldn't find it too useful....
nutin else i guess... and oh yeah... all the best with your office!!!
:-)
How about a hygenist who doesn't ask questions. I don't mind them talking at all, but when they ask questions while instruments are in my mouth it's a bit annoying. How can I answer them?? I'd rather hear funny stories about patients they've seen...
Also pictures with a lot of detail on the ceiling.
Not having to wait, just getting in and out. I don't want a massage, I don't care about fountains. I just want to get it done and leave.
