Corel Paint shop prox4?
How do i make a layer transparent? I have a back ground set up how i want but i am a layer in that need to be transparent and cant figure out how. please help me!

The whole layer? You can right click>delete the layer, click the layer's little eye icon to make the layer invisible or click on the layer to highlight it and then slide the Layer Palette's Opacity slider (where it says "100%") to the left side.
