(DEP) Delayed Entry Program UPDATE?
I received a phone call today asking If I wanted to ship to BCT sooner than expected. Anyone in DEP might want to contact their recruiter and see If they can go sooner. My ship date was October 28th and I'll find out next week my new ship date but my recruiter seems to think middle of August.

Update:"Recruiter" It has nothing to do with money. Each station was asked to find people who wanted to ship earlier and thats all there is to it.

If they offer a bonus with a sooner ship date, TAKE IT! :D
YES, for the last 4 months we have been telling people they will not ship until oct, as of yesterday THe army said they are opening 20,000 new training slots for some jobs. It is for those people who cant wait, people with money issues or just cant wait to get out of where ever they are.

Anyone who does this better say you won't do it without a bonus.
If they're trying to get that increase of 22,000 soldiers, they're trying to do it quick. This could be potentially bad news, hahahah!! What kind of tricks does our Government have up our sleeve???
