Yup.. So I have these skull candies that my cousin gave me since I don't have any headphones at the moment..
So do other headphones really show a big quality difference? If so which one would you recommended? and I'm talking about those headphones that just give you a orgasmic scream when you blast it l00000000l.

I have been through SkullCandy Aviators (which sound amazing, and the bass kicks my ears, but feel uncomfortable), Beats (Worst headphones I've ever had, fell apart after a month, and the sound was shoddy compared to 15 $ SkullCandy earplugs), but right now I'm stuck on these Phonak Audéo 012's.
They aren't a headset, but instead plugs, and I have never listened to so many songs and realized there were so many MORE instruments in those songs.
Highly recommended.
This goes back to radio wave propagation, frequency response, and audio filters, which I'll pass on getting into the details.
"Do headphones really show a big quality difference?"
yes, decent headphone produce great detail. Even like breathing sound or metronome ticking in the recording studio. You can listen to the bass thumping, cymbal playing and guitar pick in the mids, the backing vocal singing along with the singer and some effects all along.

Audio Technica M50 for entry level is more than enough?
Here's the thing about good headphones and earphones: they're not making the quality better but just taking full advantage of the available quality. Personally, I own the $69 Apple earphones (GREAT earphones, not too pricey compared to many) but Beats are great too (don't own any). Any high-end earphones are usually good, but once there's something you like, read a lot of reviews about it, and consider the design if you don't want to look like a dork.
Yes, the quality make a difference. You should try brands like Beats, Sennheiser, Sony, Panasonic or Skullcandy. Then use one of those cheap ones. You will notice the difference. Look for public reviews and ratings and compare products for a clear view. You will get what you want. :)
