Low normal blood pressure is 90/60 mmHg,
* Low blood pressure (hypotension) is blood pressure low enough to cause symptoms such as dizziness and fainting.
* Postprandial hypotension is an excessive decrease in blood pressure that occurs after a meal.
* Orthostatic hypotension, also known as postural hypotension,[1], and colloquially as head rush or dizzy spell, is a form of hypotension in which a person's blood pressure suddenly falls when standing up or stretching. The symptom is caused by blood pooling in the lower extremities upon a change in body position.
* Neurally mediated hypotension (NMH) most often affects young adults and children. It occurs when a person has been standing for a long time. Children usually outgrow this type of hypotension.
Get up slowly. What did the doc say? I had a daughter skinny 18 with the same b/p and she was an athlete. She had an athletes b/p. But the headaches if ongoing should be addressed. Talk to a different doctor that will explain to you where your at. Some docs do not talk alot. Tell them your fears and concerns. No one on here can diagnosis. Docs are good, make them talk and get your moneys worth. If there is a problem they do talk, otherwise they forget too alot of them. Anyway do not fear just be sensible and go again if your still bad feeling. I like Mother Theresa short novena found online called "Jesus My all in All" and google the Matt Maher song "Remembrance"
