Do "metal laptops" (like MacBook Pros and HP Envys) feel a lot warmer than their plastic counterparts, especially the keyboard and the palm rest areas?
I don't know about the HP Envy's, but definitely the Macbooks. You need to buy a laptop cooler if you get one.
Considering the fact that metal conducts heat much better than plastic, yes, metal laptops do get hot much easier.
