do prescription drugs go bad/ expire?
I've been having trouble sleeping and found some ambien cr in one of my junk drawers from 10-30-07. Is it okay to take them? I just read the bottle says use before 10-30-08. So what will happen if I do decide to use them?

if kept cool ,dry, and in the dark, they,re o.k. beyond the expiration date. if allowed to sit out and absorb humidity, then dump them.
no its not drugs go bad and can become toxic they from into a toxic compound called rixen or something along those lines. look it up on google you find what i mean
