The paranormal does not exist. No one has legitimate paranormal experiences, they only have experiences that they do not understand and mistakenly interpret as paranormal.
Hmmm...a paranormal experience. It's hard to say for sure since I've never seen any actual ghosts. However, I've had some incidents where things occurred with no explanation. For starters, in my attic, I've videotaped what I presume to be orbs and on more than one occasion, the battery power died. But, when I left the attic, the battery power would come back to where it was. Then, there were times the camera light would go out at certain places, especially eerie places at night. And, let's not forget the perfume I've smelled late at night when no one in my house wears any. So, to answer this topix's question...have I ever had a paranormal experience?...I guess the answer would be "possibly". But, I can't say for sure unless someone can give me a logical explanation for the things I've mentioned...or tell me that these things are something paranormal.
I'm not sure if this is what you mean by paranormal but it's never happened before or since to me. Back in 2000, my beloved dad was dying, he had several mini stokes and was taken to the hospital. My mom, sister and I didn't want dad to be alone so we split up the time around the clock. I took the night shift and that's when dad was the most active. He would call out the names of his siblings, eleven of them and ask each one to go wake up his mom. That Saturday morning a nurse came in and ask if I thought it was time to end my dad's suffering. I told her I was going downstairs to smoke a cigarette and that I would be back shortly. When I return dad was breathing heavily and I knew it was the end. When he took his last breath I felt an over amount of love entering the room. I turned and saw no one but I sat down on my cot and curl up into a ball. It was like a hundred people entered all at once. I wasn't frighten by anything it was a loving feeling I had never before or since felt. I didn't cry for my daddy because I had felt so comfortable about his passing I knew he was finally happy and pain free again. He was 90 and had lived a life like no other. Anyway, I've never doubted my decision to let him go and my hope is I feel that content when it's my time to leave.
I have answered this a couple of times in this section now. This is just one of the unexplainable things that occurred in this house. I have also seen and heard many other freaky things too.
However, whenever something immediately unexplainable happens, we are far too quick to conclude "ooh, that must be a spirit." or if it happens out in the open in the form of funny lights in the sky the immediate response is "ooh, that must be a UFO." People just jump to conclusions to easily.
Having said that though:
I have seen a cross fly across a room. This was in a house my friends mum was renting for the family. It was a while ago now. I helped them move in, and as happens when you move in to a place it is usually totally void of furniture or ornaments etc. So was this place save for a cross that was about 300-400mm (12-15 inches if you prefer!!) high. Next to it was an ominous note with a warning: "Do NOT Remove this Cross from this exact spot!!"
So, being teenagers, we were about to move it when my pal's mum screamed "Don't touch that!!"
Anyway, I used to hang out at this house quite a lot - especially on week ends. There were a few 'odd' things that occurred. One Saturday night my friend’s younger brother and I were sitting in the lounge room after everyone else had long since gone to bed. We were just watching a movie when we heard a funny whistling tune that seemed to be coming from the wall! So we set off to find the noise and we went to his other brother’s room where the tune seemed a little louder. Now, you have to know two things here. One, this brother was sound asleep but no noise was being emitted from him apart from breathing. Two, he is profoundly deaf! So even if awake, there is no way he would whistle a tune. We then went into the hall, remember that it would have been 2 or 3 am, and as we walked down the hall there was a loud "bang". We found that the door to lounge room had slammed shut. The whistling had now stopped! There were no other doors or windows open, and nobody else was awake and up and about at the time. However, it did now wake the rest of the house (save from his deaf brother who remained in bed asleep) and they came out to see what on earth we were doing. When we tried to explain, everyone thought we were making it all up and being idiots.
A couple of weeks later again in the early hours of a Saturday morning, we heard the whistling again except this time there were 4 of us that could hear it. So, two went one way and the other two went the other and again "bang" the lounge door slammed shut again and the whistling immediately stopped!
Upon returning to the lounge, we were all a little startled, we were obviously in full debate about what was causing it and the brother and I were telling how it had happened before. The others were arguing that it was co-incidence and in fact we had not witnessed it before when the real scary part happened. The cross, that was sitting in the exact position it had been left before we arrived, literally 'flew' off the mantle and landed in middle of the room some 4-5 yards from its original resting place. Simultaneously to that, the door that had previously slammed shut suddenly flew open. Now, none of the people that were present are religious in any way but that cross could have been $1M that night we revered it so much.
We all just gasped and stared at the cross in middle of the floor and then at each other - aghast!! Nobody dared speak for a long time. Somebody, could have been any of the 4 of us I cannot remember now, finally got up and replaced the cross onto the mantle again.
Reading this back does not seem that bad, but believe me it was terrifying at time.
There were many other weird things that happened in that house that were unexplainable to us. However, if we had access to some researchers all we would find that is these things could have been explained in light of day in a comprehensible and concise way. No demons, no spooks no ghosts, just plain science.
Yes I have. My husband and I have a group called Southern Indiana Paranormal society. We have done several investigations. I was a little skeptical but I believe. We have 2 more investigations this weekend.
Yeah I do, but I hate recalling it: I was in a lighthouse my friend owns down at Cape Cod, Mass in Dennisport one night sleeping over. I went to the top of the lighthouse to get a good view of the sea and it was amazing. Then, however, it got cold, like SERIOUSLY FRIGID COLD and I could hear heaving breathing right behind my ear and it sounded like someone was coming up the stairs towards me. I ran down with my hands on my head and got back into the main hall with my friend. The eeriest thing about that experience, is that the temperature that night was 89.
in 2004 I saw a shadow person walk by up across the steps where i was going about 6am in the morning. it was weird to say the least and when i reliazed it wasn't real it was gone. i noticed when you see someone during just before dawn they may look dark but you can sorta make out the colors they are wearing well the shadow person was black it was so interested and i will never forget it it was at Randolph AFB, Pitsenberger Hall (this place is haunted) so many have seen the pilots from 40's walking the halls and doing things . its neat to see them not sure but there was a person who hung himself in one of the rooms upstairs.
Just today my grandmother and I were in her kitchen. For no apparent reason I looked out the window and saw a deer. I went to tell her and when I came back it was gone. I didn't take long and it was in the middle of a field. My grandmother said it could have been the spirit of her mother.
Ya, once I was in my house and then I saw a wavy figure in the moonlight. Then I heard a weird high pitched noise. It was creepy. I turned on the TV and the noise stopped and the thing dissappeared. I haven't seen it since. That was like 5 months ago.
yes! yes i have! one morning i woke up and my underpants were on my head and a pair of shoes on each hand! One of the leg holes was over my eye so i could see, but it was still a frightning experience.....I am afraid to sleep at nights now unless i lock my undies and shoes up in a big safe in the cupboard.
hes really stupid so he was playing with a ouija board one night before he went to bed (he was the only one in his house and the doors and windows were locked)
he only sleeps with like 2 pillows and his bedroom door is always locked and when he woke up all the pillows from his house were on top of his face like someone or something was trying to suffocate him
