I have for the past year in a half or so but i just recently found out what it was called! I can not tell you how happy i was to figure out that i wasn't like going insane and that other people do it. I like myself in my fixed fantasy more then i like myself in real life. I grow so fond of the characters in my fantasy that i want to be just like them. For those of you who don't know what they are. They are like fake lives as I like to call them. They are an alter ego of yourself and you create lives for them. I get so detailed that i know what they are wearing, how their hair looks, their backgrounds, where they live and what their house looks like! I am not sure why i do it, maybe it is because i am dissatisfied with my own life. my life is pretty boring. my social life is fine, i have friends and i am not cut of from love and care. I have never been socially deprived either. I get so lost in my head that i can't even concentrate on what i should be doing like writing down notes in class. I also don't feel very comfortable talking about this to my friends or anyone else for that matter. My friends kind of look at me like i'm insane but it's not like they make fun of me. I know my character's in my stories better then i know anyone else in real life. I tried writting it down but it is not like a story with a plot, it just like these characters everyday lives so it didn't really work out. anyways, i know that that was long but i am curios on howmany people do this and what their stories are and how often they do it. Thanks!!!

I'm kind of the same, but it's not always me but I make other characters up in my head. During my school years I did it so much I forgot to do homework, lol.
I never knew it was called fixed fantasy.
I think it's good. I love having an overactive imagination. I often wonder if other people can see things so vividly in their head too...doubt it.
I'm kind of socially awkward though. I have friends and I get along with people usually, just when in a large group conversation I find I can't keep up. Auditory Dyslexia it's called.
Never change. We're the creative ones. We could write for stage or cinema.
ESPN has them at 39 stunning now. i think of it rather is incorrect, the place do you get 40 from? I see 4 fumbles, 4 interceptions, 3 sacks and a pair of TDs. 12 factors for the TDs, sixteen for the turnovers and 6 for the sacks provides as much as 34 or possibly 38 if fumbles are rather worth 3 each and each. i do no longer see the two 39 or 40 as stunning.
Yeah...its nothing to be proud of...if i were you i'd keep it to yourself. It sounds like merely just a comfort thing.
huh ????
