Does anyone own an exotic animal as a pet?
What is it? Is it hard to care for? Is it expensive? Do you have a special permit to care for it?
Update:Why did you choose this animal as a pet? What advise would you give to someone thinking about getting one? Or just tell me something cool about it. I'm just curious and bored.

i have two ball pythons, a fire skink, and bearded dragons. they are all wonderful pets and didn't cost a lot at all. you don't have to have a permit or anything.
I used to have a Burmese python...yes you need a permit and the upkeep is quite easy
I also had ferrets...harder to take care of but a lot more fun and yes you need a permit.

I OWN 2 FERRETS. THEY TAKE ALOT OF TIME & CARE. NO COMMENT ON THE SPECIAL LISENCE FOR THEM. :-)
