Does each computer record IP address differently each time?
I found out what my IP address is and wrote it down on a piece of paper. Then somebody used my computer to log in a certain network where they stored IP address of each user's computer. But when I logged in to the network to see the log, I didn't see my IP address there. How is that possible?

Unless you set your IP address (not advisable on the Internet because most servers assign you one when you log on) your Internet protocol number will change.
I set mine for my home network card (LAN) but leave my TCP/IP alone. I'm not an expert on this so others may have better advice/answer.
If you have something called a "static IP" then each time you use the internet your computer uses the same Internet Protocol address.
However, most consumer internet connections use a different IP address during each session - so that the address you wrote down may have changed. Even broadband connections typically do not maintain a fixed IP address.
There are different advantages for having either a static or variable IP address, but for most consumers the later is preferable for security reasons.

A static ip handle is assigned to the comparable pc every time, whether it quicker or later disconnects and reconnects. With dynamic ip addresses, besides the undeniable fact that, the comparable pc would be reassigned an ip handle every time it disconnects and reconnects to the community.

Yes, most common internal and home dsl/cable networks use something called DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol).

When your computer or any network device starts up, it performs a DORA request. (Discover, Offer, Request, Acknowledge). By default, most DHCP servers will store your ip address and allow you to have it for 80% of 3 days. That is just a basic setup. If you do not request a renewal via DORA, your ip address get returned to the available pile. When you login again, your computer will go through a DORA again, possibly getting a new IP Address.

if you are using dialup then each time you log onto the internet your IP changes. However if you are using Broadband, then your IP stays the same
Do you have static or Dynamic service if you have static then ur IP stays the same with dynamic it changes so many times a day
