Typically women will have some asymmetry, this applies to labia minora, breasts, feet, ears... No one is exactly the same on both sides. There are however some women who have too much labia tissue which can cause the "sex wedgy", embarrassment, irritation, etc. The problem with photos on the web is who to trust. Some are idealized "normal" labia, some are airbrushed, some are the worst of the worst... My suggestion is to ask a GYN provider is you are excessive and to see if you really care enough to consider surgery to correct it. Here, we do the repairs in office to try and correct tears, excessive tissue, personal concerns, etc. Hope this helps, DL
