I LOVE the movie Eastern Promises. I was wondering if there was going to be a sequel. I have read speculations and things like that, but I was wondering if there was any truth behind them.

YES!! A sequel to Eastern Promises is in the works and will be wrapped up by May, 2011 and released September, 2011. Star Viggo Mortegensen is currently in process of shooting a new movie...but will return to his reprised role of newly 'MADE' Russian Mafioso.
