Yes I have an elliptical Trainer

I believe it works well, however I prefer my treadmill better

I lost about 10 pounds in 2 months however I was still in pretty good shape and since you're bigger, if you are determined, I believe you could loose more as long as you eat well and exercise.

Last but not least the name of mine is something like Horizon..it's pretty decent but a little noisy (most are anyways unless you pay 3000+)
