What are considered good extra-curricular activities for someone who aspires to study Physics? I know about the Olympiads and I'll enter next year, but I mean other good extracurriculars that I can do in my summer vacation for example? And I mean in general, 'look around' is not good advice

Have you looked into sitting extra Open University modules, like the Young Applicants in Schools Scheme? I'm in the same position, and I've taken on a YASS course as well as an extended project qualification you're free to define. We're told a focused and well-executed project in the area of your desired field of study is a great asset to a personal statement. As for slightly less academic pastimes, perhaps there's some kind of astrology group in your school or area? *shrug*
