Water + soap at least twice a day.
I have tried everything from local stores and I end up expending more money trying out products that never worked. I know it may sound expensive when you see a facial wash selling for $30.00 or more but when you see the results you don't mind paying b-cause it pays back plus the good stuff is extra concentrated you don't need as much so it last longer also the facial cleanser is not an anti- aging but even at your age is important to prevent wrinkles using solar protection and good products with no fragrances my favorite skin care is "abrione"
Do NOT use soap on your face!! The skin on your face is sensitive and if you use harsh soap, you'll have wrinkles at 25.
As obnoxious as the sales consultants can be sometimes, Mary Kay makes spectacular skin care products. I got talked into trying to sell MK a few years ago when I really needed extra money. I hated the business and definitely stopped trying to make money that way, but I still use my discount to buy products for myself, family and friends, directly from the company. I would never use anything else. The fact that their products work so well for me (23 with dry skin), my mom (53 with combination skin) and my sister (18 with oily skin) just goes to show you how great they are.
Feel free to email me if you want specific advice on which products to try. If you tell me your skin type and what problems you're wanting to fix or avoid, I can make some specific suggestions.
For all skin types even sensitve skin-use Cetaphil to remove make up with cotton wool ,then rinse off with water..Double cleanse with Olay foam cleanser if skin is oily/combination.Twice a day will keep skin clear. Do tone & moisturise after this to hydrate skin. If sunny -use SPF 15 to protect skin.

st.ives makeup remover and facial cleanser, one in the same tube is very good for me.i have combination to oily skin with break outs now and then,it minimised the break outs, and is very mild and cleanse to the maximum.if i want to scrub my face all i do is put some sugar onto my palm and a blob of the same cleanser, with gentle strokes it cleanses and scrubs as well.
Purity by Philosophy. Its available in most department stores and sephora (.com). Its a creamy cleanser that makes skin look great and clears up pimples. I swear by it and have tried a billion other store bought cleansers.
However if you have bad acne at the same time, I suggest using purity in addition to another, strong acne fighting cleanser.
Hi Purple, try Natural Sea Beauty - Mineral Source, Deep Cleansing Milk and follow with toner. You will find them at http://www.bodycarebymg.com/
i like aveeno clear complexion. it helps clear up any blemishes or irregularities in your skin. it's not oily, it doesn't dry you out, and it really does leave your skin glowing. the moisturizer is absolutely fantastic, too. i like the pads because they are so much easier to travel with and use. if you find yourself on the go a lot or have oily skin, bjore makes a wet-nap sort of cloth that doesn't need to be rinsed off. i can't remember the name of them but they are great in a bind.
i have oily skin and prone to pimples.
I've found that witchhazel (buy in supermarkets) is the BEST.
Apply with cotton ball or tissue. it dries in seconds. cleanses, tones and is brilliant to avoid ingrown hairs on your legs/underarms/bikini after a wax/shave too!
