I would go with Far Cry 3, having played both myself, I've concluded that Far Cry is WAY more fun. There are so many minigames and the in-game interaction with NPCs is so much fun, not to mention driving boats and cars all over the Island. Although Dead Space 3 is somewhat fun, It got 4 stars on GameSpot, while Far Cry go 4 1/2 stars (Here are the links):
I also think that Far Cry has a better plot line and graphics than Dead Space. If you can, I would get Far Cry new right now, and then wait a couple months and get Dead Space.
