Hi, in October I adopted a Female 2 1/2 year old Ferret her name is Neichei and she is very very Energetic LOVES to play Eats Normal doesn't drink a whole lot but Normally. She had a couple fleas on her when I got her but we gave her Advantage Kitten flea medicine and Walla! They were all gone and never had a Problem with them since,. Well for maybe 3 days she has had I gues Stringy Poo, For axample you know the Shape of a normal Worm right? Well her Poo is Long like that. I switched her from IAMS cat food to EVO ferret food around 2 weeks ago and she loves it but just now she has had poo like that. She still is energetic and eats fine. Really nothing that I would really worry about to take her to the vet. OH, I almost forgot, 1 week ago I adopted a new Ferret, Adrian, he has had a lot of Health concerns but we took him to the vet and he might have to have Bloodwork done, But they played for the First time around 4 days ago so could that be it? She pounces on him and stuff, the normal Fighting people said New ferrets do. Thanks!

Evo is very high in protein and causes loose stools in some ferrets. I retake what I said. It's possible it could be a blockage or hairball. Give her 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin or a little bit of Vaseline. If that doesn't clear it up, take her to the vet.

It's basically solid meat, which is good for ferrets and will help sharply reduce the risk of any future problems like insulinoma and Adrenal Disease.
Ferrets definitely make stunning pets. they are friendly, clutter container trainable and can be stored in cages. i think of they are the final of the two worlds. they are lots relaxing to play with. If the scent is what's suitable to your mom and aunt there is those issues stated as Bi-scent which could be extra to water every day and it extensively wears down the scent. additionally washing their blankets each 2 weeks or so is yet in any different case to maintain the scent down.
