Fifth grade question... LOL FOR MY LIL BRO.?
Carole is pasting pics in her scrapbook. Six of the pages will each hold 6 pics and 8 of the pgs will each hold hour larger pics. HOw many pics can fit in the scrap book?

8 x 4 = 32
32 + 36 = 68 pictures in all

I'm assuming you meant the 8 pages will hold 4 pics apiece?
If so, then multiply 6 X 6, and then 8 X 4 and add the totals together.

6x6=36, 8x4=32, 36+32=68. I am assuming that your 'six pages' are either all done only on one side, or that each 'side' is called a page, and there are only 12 pages or 6 'sheets' in the scrapbook.

You really have to touch up on your Math skills, buddy.
I would just give you the answer, but that's too simple.
Break it up. SIx pages take six pix. So, what's the operation you do there? Eight pages take four pix, same MULTIPLICATION process. Then how do you get those all together? Ah, yeah - ADDITION!
Take everything piece by piece.
6x6=36
8x4=32
32+36=68

the question is confusing the hours does not make sense it is at least 36 plus the other 8 pages
six pages x six pictures= 36
8 pages x 4 pictures = 32
36 + 32 = 68
