I got a green laser pointer/pen and for some reason the laser will be dim. And I know its not cause I use it to much cause I barely use it and it will be dim then bright then dim. And also the problem isn't with the battery's cause I replaced them. And I blew in where the battery's go to see if there was dust but there was none. Please help. It was $45. Fix green laser pointer?

I got a green laser pointer/pen and for some reason the laser will be dim. And I know its not cause I use it to much cause I barely use it and it will be dim then bright then dim. It might be caused by two conditions:

1. Bad connections of batteries inside of the laser pointer.

2. operation temperature. A low degree temperature might effect the bright pointing of a laser pointer. There might need time for preheating before the laser beam becomes bright and visible.
