So, i am a junior and i really need to start thinking about what career to get into. I am in loveee with forensics, you know working in the lab with hair, blood, and fluid samples. But i started looking into criminal psychology too. i think that would be really interesting. any advice, suggestions, comments about both of them? thanks:D

Whoa...I'm going into 11th grade too. I'm really getting into Forensic Anthropology and I LOVE studying criminal psychology.
We should talk haha, I haven't met anyone my age who likes both of these things. So crazy that you're asking this ahah
Lately I've been thinking about this...a lot. I can't decide which one I prefer either. I think criminal psychology. The most gruesome stories are the most interesting because you just wonder...what could drive someone to do such a thing.
I can't get enough of psychology...I spend hours researching serial killers and reading psychology books.
And I love forensics because it's amazing how it's practically impossible to get away with murder. I'm also fascinated with genetics. Mainly genetic mutations these days which is another story entirely...
Haha sorry this stuff totally brings out my inner nerd.
The liberal arts include physics, math, economics, and computer science, some of the highest paying majors available. You need to specific you're looking at the fine arts or art history, neither or which pay well. A forensic psychologist needs a PhD or PsyD - that's 8-12 years of college, total. There's really nothing you can do in psychology without at least a masters.
