What are some fun activities to do in the DC area for teen girls? ...other than going to see all the monuments and museums.
I went to DC last year for a conference and we spent a lot of time in Georgetown area. It has a lot of cool shops and restaurants. Here are some links I found:

You can get on and off the bus and see all the sites.
one museum you might not think of is the spy museum is not far from the monument and is loads of fun for kids and adults

take the metro to Bethesda and shop down there
its like our own little 5th Avenue
or you could go see a show
