Last year, I was geek for Halloween, I wore my hair in pigtails, I used glasses, a school uniform w/long socks, a backback, and I had braces. I was supposed to be a geek, but some people said I looked like Ugly Betty ._. oh wells :P

And if you don't wanna look ugly in your geek costume, you can make your outfit really cute^^ if you're a girl O.O you can like get cute socks, uniform, glasses, ribbons on your pig tails :P w/e floats your boat!

boy- plain pants and a checked shirt tucked in

girl- dress or skirt and top tucked in, try drawing on some fake freckles over your nose with brown lipliner. pigtails or plaits would be cute.
