i dont get this at all. iam provided with a table that shows mRNA codons.

Take the template strand, convert to mRNA. When it's in mRNA it's been translated, you now can code for peptides. Each 3 nucleotide is a mRNA codon, which will be a specific amino acid ex: leucine.

Now take every there letters and use your table to figure out which amino acid sequence it is: so far it would be: UAU= Tyr GAU=Asp GAC=Asp
