listen to the newer Al Di Meola songs, his so called "electrical comeback" cds in the past 4 or 5 years are great. Some Joe Satriani songs, Steve Vai, and Eric Johnson songs are incredible instrumental songs. They may take some time to learn but are definitely worth it.

just listen to any led zeppelin song, they have alot of awesome instrumental stuff....
