Ummm...u can play other people but dont listen to that first guy...i have the game for the DS...and i like it.!!!!! its really Fun to play.!!!

Yes, you can play wireless local multiplayer with friends.

If you are considering buying this game, I would definitely not recommend this game at all. I suggest getting Rock Band 2.
