Hi,
I just installed the halo custom edition, and whenever i click on the icon i get "We are sorry, but you need to have DirectX 9.0b installed to run this program" I'm currently running Windows 7 x86, My current DirectX is 11, I've tried running it as an administrator, i've tried running it in compatability mode for all differen't os's. All of my drivers are up to date, I don't quite understand what the problem is, can someone help me out?

There are 3 step to repair DirectX error

DX11? Is that even out? O_O
Anyway, it could be a few things.
I think that your DX11 is too advanced for the game to run. I'm not saying you should downgrade, but it might be the problem. I can't run a lot of my old videogames because the graphics are too good on my computer.
It sounds weird but it's true.
Anyway, do you need the original Halo to play CE? I thought you did. :/
Does the installer offer to install DX9? If it does, allow it to install DX9. Because it will recognize your DX11 and tell the files that so it can activate the files it needs in your DX11.
