Yea, it really can depend on what you're wearing, I have hazel eyes too, and I typically for formal do a pale blue, smokey gray, or blend some for a unique look, but I don't know if you're performance is really a fancy thing or not... If more casual, shoot for a lighter color, but make sure it does have color, you want some color for sure. :) Hope this helps

Also.. you could play this look down a little by not using so much eyeliner, less eyeshadow (or lighter eyeshadow) and blending the eyeshadow a little more.

for Hazel eyes go with a gold, brown, and maybe green eye make up. don't make it to over the top being that its casual.
Depends what your wearing, try getting something that will match your outfit. :DD
