Soon, I will be traveling to Texas. I will be traveling with my mother (who is in a wheelchair) and her service dog. I havent packed a thing yet. If you would list some things that I should take, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, if any of you have traveled with someone in a wheelchair, any tips for making it through the airport smoothly, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!!!

Tell your Airline you are travelling with a disabled passenger and they should provide some assistance to you. If you don't have the time to call your Airline then tell the Check-In agent when you are checking-in for assistance if you need it. Obviously, depending on the Airport, if jetbridges are not used then you will need assistance to board as the only other alternative is using the steps. My best advice is to make the Airline aware you are travelling with a disabled passenger.
