Please Help!Im in a Dilema,i came across a HONDA CIVIC 2005 EX - $3900 car that a seller has managed to lower the price per my request down to 3000,as he says the car has suspension problems, and estimates that will cost me between 500-600 to fix, thats part of the reason,he agreed to lower the price,i feel the price is perfect for that year car plus it has 23000 miles on it..Now i researched suspension type questions on this car on here and one answer from someone said that once u have suspension problem,it will affect the car forever, and that its best they went ahead and bought a new car and give up on fixing the suspension..Got me thinking and so im tryring to see if any of u members can elaborate further, and give me advice on this situation.Either way,i plan on taking a reliable mecanic along with me to inspect the car and make sure the problem isnt major and not fixable,so i dont end up with a lemon,But would love to hear more advice from u guys on this? Thanks in advance.

Get a carfax. If it has 23000 miles and has that severe of suspension problems its more likely it has been wrecked, or they turned back the odometer. No you will not have the same problems forever. If you fix it, its fixed. And Vibrating could be tires, could be CV joints, clicking would be the tie-rods (would click when you turn, etc.) loud clunk over bumps again cv joints, or could be shocks and struts. I would definitely foot the cash for a carfax report before I bought that. Something isnt making sense. 23,000 miles means that car is practically new. Something bad has happened to it. Make the dealer provide the carfax if you dont want to pay for it yourself. If they beat around the bush about that, then you know you are buying exactly what you dont want, a lemon.
your car has a electric fan if its not working when you pull up at the lights or cars not moving there is no air flow through the radiator when you drive again the air flows again also the overheating will cause the coolant to expand ans overflows the the overflow bottle when the car cools down it should be recovered back to the engine but if the radiator cap may be faulty and need to be replaced other then that it may be the head gasket leaking none of witch will get better with out replacing the parts needed
that problem will not go on forever you can have a rage of problems, the tie rods your springs or axial but is it pulling vibrating..if it is pulling you might need an alignment or a if it is vibrating you have a tie-rod issue or you have no tred on your tires
